ABSTRACT

Dynamic situation of semiconductor manufacturing service companies’ demand for a system framework that integrates organization knowledge management (KM) intelligence and decision making features to tackle the current challenges posed by the competitive environment and the pressure of increasing customer service level. This study develops a systematic framework that responds to such challenges efficiently. This framework allows a KM centric intelligent manufacturing system (KCIMS) which builds on organizational knowledge resources and works with advance product quality planning (APQP) concept as well as intelligent agents. The proposed framework reflects how an intelligent agent seeks significant inroads into process knowledge repository to recommend a solution for decision making in delivering semiconductor manufacturing services.
